Although they are run similarly the major difference is that non-profit centre’s are eligible for grants and funding, and are exempt from state and federal taxes. A non-profit centre is also required to invest all of the money collected from parents and other sources into the organisation, in order to service the children and families.

Yes, we do. Our preschool program is suitable for children aged 3–5yrs and incorporates play and structured activities to support your child’s growth. Our preschool teachers will design a programme suitable to your child’s strengths, interests and areas in need of development.

We supply freshly prepared, nutritious meals to all children. Our meals are made from local produce and cooked by qualified chefs.

Yes. Our meals can be catered to your child’s dietary, cultural or medical needs. Our special needs support teacher, Katrina, is also on hand to assist children who require additional support.

At Mount Hutton Child Care Centre, each room has a different child to educator ratio:

  • Caterpillar room—10:3
  • Butterfly room—15:3
  • Preschool room—20:4

We request that you keep your child home if they are ill. This prevents other children and our educators from getting sick. If your child becomes unwell while at the centre we will contact you immediately.
